Freeride by shape but all-mountain by nature, the Women’s Stratos is our Pro Team’s number one daily driver from storm cycles to spring sessions. On deep days it floats like a dedicated powder craft, but its short sidecut and lively flex are full of dynamic energy to stay out long after the mountain’s tracked. Proven from backcountry descents to banked slaloms podiums, there’s always a new line to ride when you’re on the Women’s Stratos.

Flex: 7/10

Shape: Directional - A directional outline with a longer nose, shorter tail and setback stance to optimize float, maneuverability and edge power. Designed for riders who prioritize performance on groomers and in the backcountry over park riding.

Medium Tapered - A sweet-spot for directional shapes that need to float in powder but still hold their own across variable snow and terrain. Nimble in deep snow, precise on piste and versatile enough to handle a full day on the mountain. Any shape with 10–15mm of taper between the nose and tail.

High 3D Contour Base - Freeride-focused 3D Contour Base featuring 4-8mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0-7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts just before the contact points.

Bend: Freeride CamRock - Versatile freeride profile featuring camber underfoot with an extended nose rocker and shorter tail rocker. This generates powerful edge hold, precise response and confidence at speed, combined with exceptional float and maneuverability in powder.

Core: Power Core - Advanced triple-density full wood core made from responsibly harvested Bamboo, Paulownia and Poplar. Centered Bamboo stringers enhance durability, pop and torsional stiffness, while the Paulownia keeps the core light and damp.

Fibreglass: Biax - Biaxial fiberglass laminate made with a dual-layer, dual-directional construction that delivers a forgiving yet snappy board feel with a mid-soft torsional flex and quick energy transfer.

ampliTex Carbon/Flax Stringers - Hybrid performance stringers made from carbon and naturally sourced flax fiber, developed with Swiss engineering firm Bcomp.

Base: Sintered 8000 Base - Premium sintered base material that’s ultra fast, highly wax absorbent, easy to repair and proven to be one of the most durable and long lasting base materials in the industry.

EXTRAS

High Traction Tech - High Traction Tech features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is bigger than the outside bumps for better grip and control.

Premium Topsheet - Durable and scratch resistant premium topsheet engineered to endure rigorous daily use in extreme conditions.

Recycled ABS - Sidewalls with a rounded finish that are engineered to enhance durability by reducing topsheet chipping and impact damage.

Recycled Edges - Bombproof steel edges made from recycled German steel, engineered for maximum strength and long-lasting durability.

Bio Resin - A bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon that reduces CO₂ emissions by 33% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxy. Sourced from plant-based industrial by-products, its unmatched bonding properties deliver industry leading durability and performance.

Flip-Flop Base - Jones models with Flip-Flop bases are made in two base colorways to minimize P-Tex waste. Orders may be filled with either color and color does not vary by size.
