JONES Howler Snowboard 2026

The Howler is a next level directional freeride board built for making steep, technical terrain your playground. The minimally tapered directional shape is matched with a hybrid full camber profile that offers insane pop, stability and edge hold. Designed in collaboration with Victor De Le Rue and Elena Hight, the Howler is ready to float down spine lines and stomp huge airs with authority.

Flex: 8/10

Shape: Directional - Directional shapes that maximize float, speed and response for supreme freeride performance and all-mountain versatility.

Low Taper - The tapered shape sinks the tail in pow for better float and quicker turns.

Bend: High Power Camber - Tip-to-tail full camber profile with 8 mm of camber along the effective edge for unmatched pop. The camber profile rises towards the tail and extends to the back binding for increased stomping power on the back foot.

Sidecut: Progressive - At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.

Core: Power Core -  Advanced triple-density full wood core made from responsibly harvested Bamboo, Paulownia and Poplar. Centered Bamboo stringers enhance durability, pop and torsional stiffness, while the Paulownia keeps the core light and damp.

Koroyd - Developed from aerospace technology, award winning Koroyd synthetic core material is the lightest core dampening material we’ve ever tested. It absorbs vibrations and reduces tip swing weight, enabling quicker, smoother turns.

Fibreglass: Triax - Triaxial fiberglass laminate made with a triple layer, multi-axis construction that delivers a precise and powerful board feel with a mid-stiff torsional flex for supreme response in variable snow conditions.

BComp Carbon Flax Stringers - BComp Carbon/Flax stringers offer the perfect performance balance as the carbon provides crazy pop and the flax sucks up chatter and reduces CO2 emissions compared to a full carbon stringer. Developed in collaboration with the Swiss engineering firm BComp.

Base: Sintered 8000 Base - Premium sintered base material that’s ultra fast, highly wax absorbent, easy to repair and proven to be one of the most durable and long lasting base materials in the industry

EXTRAS

Medium Contour Base - 3D Contour Base tuned for all-terrain featuring 4mm spoon bevel in the nose and 0 to 4mm spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts just before contact point.

Medium Traction Tech - Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.

3D Flip Tip - 3D Flip Tip maximizes float in deep powder, enhances glide and turn initiation, while reducing tip catch in rough terrain.

Premium Eco Topsheet - Durable and scratch resistant bio-plastic topsheet made from castor beans that's engineered to provide exceptional abrasion and impact resistance while minimizing environmental impact.

Bio Resin - Bio Resin is a bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon instead of petroleum-based carbon. The organic raw materials used to make bio-resin are co-products or waste products of plant-based industrial processes. Bio-resin requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions to produce than conventional epoxy.

Wend Natural Wax - Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax.

Forever Flex - Forever Flex is a new manufacturing process that helps stabilize the flex and rocker of a board for its lifetime.

Recycled ABS Sidewalls - ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. We improve the sustainability of our snowboards by using only recycled plastic.

Oversized recycled edges - All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability.

Factory Tuned - All Jones Snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
