The Mantra is the most accessible women’s specific all-mountain camber snowboard in the line. Its contemporary, yet timeless, mountain twin shape sits on Arbor’s System Camber platform which features Parabolic Camber, Grip Tech and 3D Fender Technology. A rare combination of style, technology, and value make the Mantra one of the best available choices for the resort-focused rider.
Flex: 5/10
Shape: Directional Twin - Quiver killing, high performance designs for backcountry freestyle & all-mountain mastery.
Bend: Parabolic Camber - Different from traditional camber lines on snowboards, Parabolic Profiling is an advanced mathematical shaping technique that replaces a single radius arc with a blend of five separate radii to create a parabolic arc, gradually reducing the amount of camber toward the tip and tail for a more natural connection to the snow. On Camber shapes, it allows both the leading and finishing edges to run smoother.
Core: Highland II Core - A 10 / 20 blend of Poplar and Paulownia for a lighter, more responsive version of the Highland Core.
Fibreglass: Mixed Glassing - A triax over biax lay-up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
Base: Sintered Base - A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
EXTRAS
3° Fenders - Fender Tech is a 3D feature that symmetrically pulls a snowboards outer contact points up off the snow. On System Camber models, fenders can be found in both the nose and tail at the traditional contact points and are designed to create smoother turn initiation and finish.
Grip Tech 2.25mm - Grip Tech is a design feature that creates an ergonomic and direct connection between the edge of a snowboard and the snow through added heel and toe contact points. It provides improved handling and response time with added edge control on the resort and in mixed conditions.
Real Wood Powerply - Built with natural fiber, wood and bamboo topsheets drive the performance, aesthetic, and ethos that Arbor is known for. Several steps are taken to get a Powerply onto Arbor snowboards responsibly, and in a way that ensures durability and lasting quality.
Bio-Plastic Topsheet - Used in an ongoing effort to eliminate harmful petroleum-based plastics, this Castor Bean eco topsheet is extremely durable and water repellent.
Recycled Steel Edges - Our highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two of (remove our) Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.
360 Degree Wrapped Sidewalls - A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
