NIDECKER Women's Rift-W Snowboard Boots Black 2024

The Rift-W is a softer boot that allows you to express your own style but which is still packed with tech. It’s 3D-moulded for a perfect fit with our bindings, combining sneaker-like looks with modern materials including a unique seamless toe construction. Dual BOA laces give you complete control over the fit and flex, with separate dials to tighten the upper and lower zones. The flex is super tweakable, and thanks to an articulated two-part shell you can apply pressure to one side of the boot without deforming the other. This creates consistent support and awesome heel hold.

It’s a super lightweight design, too, with a low profile BFT Ascent outsole to provide cushioning underfoot and traction on any surface. A Transition Zone connects this sole directly to the rubber backstay without any exposed edges, protecting the back of the boot and prolonging its life. Finally, the Rift comes loaded with OC-Kush foam dampening and a Silver heat-moldable liner for toasty comfort from day one. It’s a killer package made for park laps, soul turns and creative all-mountain shralping.

LACING: Dual Zone BOA - The Dual Zone Boa® uses a dial over the tongue, for strength and power to close the upper, and the mid-power dial on the side to close the lower. This configuration provides independent zonal adjustment, snug fit and perfect support. Effortless and fast, the M4 Coiler quickly takes up lace slack, increasing speed of entry into the boot. Ready for anything, designed to withstand. 

LINER: Silver Heat Moldable Liner - Fully redesigned, this liner is pressure-point free; closure happens via the cuff attached to the shell inner. This also makes the liner a breeze to get on and off. To prevent tongue rotation, we’ve added Velcro patches on both sides to keep everything in place. There’s a Custom Flex Zone around the toes for wiggle room, 8mm of PE foam and added PU support around the outsides for extra stiffness.

FOOTBED: 3D Molded Dual Density Footbed - An extra layer of high-density EVA supports the deep heel cup and anatomical arch, while comfort EVA offers more flexibility to the forefoot. Silicone top-print adds traction to the fleece-lined footbed.

OUTSOLE: Ascent - This rubber outsole comes with a full EVA midsole for comfort, and an OC-Kush insert to smooth out big landings or chatter. We designed a new tread with a wavelike pattern inspired by the gecko’s feet for maximum grip

3D Molded Tongue - The asymmetrical tongue is 3D molded and curved towards the medial side, following the naturally raised ridgeline of your forefoot to alleviate pressure points and give a more balanced feel of comfort and support. An anatomically correct and asymmetrical tongue performs better than a standard straight one

3D Molded Toebox - This 3D toebox eliminates extra layers and seams around the forefoot for durablility and a streamlined, bulk-free design. It also makes easier to slide in and out of your bindings

Articulating Flex Zone - The upper boot cuff is asymmetrically connected to the lower boot allowing the ankle to flex naturally while providing support without shell distortion. A thermal insulation barrier between the outsole and the bottom of the liner keeps the warmth inside and the cold outside

ASYM3F - An asymmetric shape and closure system for optimum support and flex. Aligned along the asym tongue, Boa® lace guides are asymmetrically positioned on the flatter forefoot areas for less point-loaded pressure and more even closure. Increases medial arch support to reduce foot fatigue and cramps. This Nidecker innovation is co-developed with and approved by Boa®.

OC-Kush - Shock-absorbing dynamic gel pads are inserted into the outsole around the heel area. This special cushioning system reduces fatigue from chatter or big landings, and improves overall comfort
