When Bryan Iguchi set out designing his flagship model, he was looking to design a snowboard capable of “having fun on it on any mountain in any condition” coming into its 6th season, the time tested relevance, timeless appearance, and shape keeps it a top choice for the top of the mountain

Flex: 7/10

Shape: Directional - Directional Shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition

0.15 cm Taper - A shaping technique that narrows the profile of the snowboard towards the rear contact points. Tapered snowboards will have a wider nose and narrower tail, allowing the tail of the board to sink in deeper snow creating natural float and cleaner tracking.

Bend: Camber - A highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies. Effortless true-camber performance across all types of snow, and during turns, spins, and landing

Core: Double Barrel Core - Poplar and Paulownia blend with bamboo stringers running down the center of the board for added longitudinal pop and unmatched board control

Fibreglass: Mixed Glassing - A triax over biax lay–up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more

Base: Sintered - A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.

Hand Dyed Ash Powerply - Sustainably harvested, majority coming from borer-kill trees, off-white to light brown, the canvas for Arbor’s hand-dyed designs

360 Degree Rails - A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.

Recycled Steel Edges - Our highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two of our Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.

R.A.P. Topless Technology - A build process in which we eliminate the need for our Bio-Plastic Topsheet, creating a lighter, more eco-friendly ride

Bio Resin - All Powerplys and R.A.P. Topless Tech veneers will be made with Bio-Resin, a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% (when compared to its petroleum based equivalent). 

Factory Tuned - We detune the tip and tail contact points on all of our snowboards for a catch-free ride before they leave the factory.
