ARBOR Annex Snowboard 2023

Size

Bryan Iguchi’s dream board finally came to life in collaboration with Arbor Snowboards. Explore a beautiful middle ground of pinnacle performance and technical terrain with comfortable, precise edging in bounds. Feel the Carbon Vector Net inlay provide a powerful torsional rebound and unmatched response on all terrain. Its unique elongated nose and tapered outline coupled with the proprietary System Camber and 3D fender technology make this board ride almost as good as it looks. Art by Bryan Iguchi.

Flex: 8/10

Shape: Directional - Directional Shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition

2 cm Taper - A shaping technique that narrows the profile of the snowboard towards the rear contact points. Tapered snowboards will have a wider nose and narrower tail, allowing the tail of the board to sink in deeper snow creating natural float and cleaner tracking.

Offset Fenders 5 ° Nose / 3 ° Tail - Used on some of our directional models. Higher fenders in the nose, with lower, or no fenders in the tail. Creates better deep snow performance off the nose, and carving through the tail.

Bend: Camber - A highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies. Effortless true-camber performance across all types of snow, and during turns, spins, and landing

Core: Double Barrel ll Core - A progressive 1:2 Poplar and Paulownia blend with bamboo stringers running along the rails of the board for added torsional response and improved board control.

Cross Vector Netting - CROSS VECTOR NETTING Our newly developed Carbon Vector Net reinforcements create evenly distributed torsional power and accelerated response from tip to tail.

Fibreglass: Mixed Glassing - A triax over biax lay–up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more

Base: Sintered - A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.

EXTRAS

Bio-Plastic Topsheet - One of the materials we use in our quest to eliminate harmful petroleum based plastics from our production cycle. Made from Castor Bean Oil, this eco-topsheet is extremely durable and water repellent.

Inlaid Curly Maple Powerply - US Lacey Act compliant, highly renewable fast growing grass, sustainably harvested, carbonized to create deep amber color

360 Degree Rails - A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.

Recycled Steel Edges - Our highly durable, recycled steed edges embody two of our Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.

Recycled ABS -When a plastic alternative is unavailable, as in the case of ABS sidewalls, we do our best to opt for a recycled material to improve the sustainability of our products.

Bio Resin - All Powerplys and R.A.P. Topless Tech veneers will be made with Bio-Resin, a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% (when compared to its petroleum based equivalent).

Factory Tuned - We detune the tip and tail contact points on all of our snowboards for a catch-free ride before they leave the factory.
