When/ How did the shop hook you up?
Well It all started last season when I came to Kelowna from the Flat lands. I was in need of the mountains and Edmonton wasn’t cutting it. I currently just got on a shop at the time and I told them I was gonna be traveling a bunch in BC and they seemed tight with the idea. Promises of head to toe hook up. Things were looking good. I came out to K-town and greased into the local senders. Sean Doucet and Mike Chapman. They took me in and showed me the Freeride love. After half the season went by and no sponsor connec’s from the shop in Edmonton. I made the move to Freeride and haven’t looked back since! Right away I was on Flow Snowboards, Ricky hooked me up and made me see how amazing Flow is. This shop family mentality is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thanks to Rob and the rest of the Freeride family I can make what I love possible. Not to mention the seek and destroy team that knows how to get sh*t done!

I think the 10 or 11 concussions are the worst cause they left me slightly retarded. Learn how to fall kids cause you can still get them with helmet on.
Best advice you’ve been given?
“Dreams and Goals are useful, but at this point I don’t feel like they lead to happiness. It’s better to set yourself down a journey of some sort and just live it as your go and not worry about the end of it.” – Craig Kelly
Worst Habit?
Taking snowboarding too serious sometimes.
Biggest Inspiration?
To die content and with no regrets. Annnd Travis Rice is F**in amazing but you knew that already.
If you weren’t snowboarding what would you be doing?
Probably off in some boring 9-5 rat race job or another lost student in collage. Not that snowboarding pays me right now anyways but it definitely is a dam good way to enjoy life.
Future plans?
To explore as much as I can of what snowboarding has to offer from the industry aspects to the depths of the Backcountry. One day maybe a cat skiing resort?
FREERIDE ing- “ Your chance to be free from all of societies little rules and free of expectations people have of you. You just look at the mountain however you want and you just snowboard down it. And hopefully you have no worry of what other people see or expect from you.” – Craig Kelly
Penticton Location
For Those of you Who only Peep the Blog and Our Website, Here’s a Few Pic’s of the Original Freeride Location. The Internet is so Big & Vast Now Adays you never know who your dealing with Most of the Time. It’s Sometimes Nice to put a Face to the Name, Personally I think.

When/How did the shop hook you up?
Last year I met Sean Doucette and Mike Chapman and I started working in the park with them at Big White. They pretty much both put in a good word for me over time and I ended up getting on the team right around the end of the season.
Worst Injury?
About 5 years ago I was out snowboarding and wasn’t paying much attention when I ran into a 12 year old kid and broke my collarbone in a couple places. Now there is a steel plate and some screws holding it together.
